Outstanding Educational Program Awards Dinner

Full Description:

Celebrate excellence in education by honoring Carlsbad teachers for their outstanding programs at our Outstanding Educational Program Awards Dinner at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2006 at La Costa Resort and Spa. One program from each of our local schools will be recognized, followed by one overall "Most Outstanding Educational Program" in the following four award categories: Innovative Program, Entrepreneurial Program, Adopted or Adapted Program, and Science Program. In addition, the Carlsbad Educational Foundation will present its 2006 Kids Are Worth A Million grants totaling $300,000. These awards will go to programs in all thirteen schools in the Carlsbad Unified School District.

Proceeds go to the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce Partners in Education Foundation. Monetary donations are tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. Tickets will be held at the door. For more information, call the Chamber at (760) 931-8400.
